The staff at Saba is a collection of highly qualified and motivated teachers who work together as a team.  They are selected by Dr. Hamoud who is the owner and managing director of the Institute. All of the teachers are university graduates with degrees in teaching Arabic as a foreign language and or Middle Eastern studies.  The teachers of specialized programs have degrees in other fields.

-PhD in Curriculum Design and Methodology in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language

-Masters in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language for Non-Native Speakers

-Bachelors in Arabic and Islamic Studies

Experience:

Taught Arabic in the Peace Corps in Yemen 1990-1992

-Taught Arabic in the Yemeni Language Canter (YLC) 1991

-Coordinator of Arabic Language Program in YLC 1997

-Arabic Language teacher in Sana'a Institute for Arabic Language (SIAL) 1998

-Arabic Language Teacher YLC 2002-2003

-Vice director of YLC 2001-2007

-Dean of Yemeni College for Eastern Studies 2008

-Producer of language materials for non-native speakers

-Trainer of teachers of Arabic as a foreign language at YLC

-Participated in seminar of teaching Arabic as foreign language for specialized purposes
