Introduction

The Saba Institute is a specialized institute for the teaching of Arabic as a foreign language, offering you a unique study experience abroad. The institute has a highly qualified and committed teaching staff with many years of teaching experience, and offers highly flexible programs that can meet each student’s individual needs.

Programs and Courses

Saba offers classes in both Classical and Colloquial Arabic, as well as specialized courses targeting media and politics, history, or medicine, as well as the Qur’an and the Hadith. Courses are divided into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels, and each student is taught at the appropriate skill level. The average course lasts five weeks – ten hours per week for private lessons, and twenty for group lessons – and each level consists of three courses. For specialized curricula, such as Qur’anic Arabic, hours may vary.

Activities

In addition to Arabic courses, students will have the chance to participate in a variety of activities, such as the following:

  • guest lectures by Yemeni academics on politics, literature, and other topics

  • Group course (5 weeks, 4 hours per day) - $400
